Dr. Chelsea Twohig
Dr. Chelsea Twohig is a periodontist and implant surgeon and an associate at Burke Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, LLC. She enjoys developing relationships with her patients as they work together to achieve their dental goals.
Dr. Twohig graduated from Iowa College of Dentistry and then continued her training by completing a 2-year advanced education program in general dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico. She was able not only to grow as a general dentist, but also to become proficient at communicating with patients and colleagues in Spanish. During these two years she also discovered her passion for periodontics and implant dentistry, which led her to pursue and complete a 3-year program in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Twohig is board certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
When Dr. Twohig is not treating patients, she can be found playing ultimate frisbee or spending time with her husband, daughter and dog. After a decade of training and study elsewhere, Dr. Twohig has recently moved back to Wisconsin, and she is excited to provide dental care to patients in her home state.
